Green Network lands in London

The Italian group founded in 2003 is going through the final stage of the application to become a supplier of electricity and gas in the UK.

 

The Italian energy lands in London with Green Network, the first Italian company to enter the British energy market.

Founded in 2003 by Piero Saulli, President, and Sabrina Corbo (above), Vice-President and Head of the company’s UK subsidiary, Green Network deals with electricity trading, coordination & holding activities and selling electricity to end customers.

As we trade in 10 European countries, we chose to open a branch in London to pursue the international trading at best,” Corbo told the Britaly Post.

Green Network is going through the final stage of the application to become a supplier of electricity and gas in the UK. “It is a complex process, which takes approximately nine months to be completed. It is different from Italy, where anyone can become a supplier in a very short time,” said Corbo. “We believe that Italy should introduce a system similar to the British one in order to streamline an overly fragmented market.
